This is my 4th set of OG scales. And I am in awe of all of the, absolutely beautiful. I have 2 ti and 2 aluminum and I was actually pleasantly surprised at how beefy these scales feel considering the light weight of the aluminum. Very nice solid lock up. Love this company!

The fit and finish are excellent; there are a couple of minor blemishes in the gold paint when viewed in a bright light, but nothing significant. Rock Solid with absolutely zero blade play in any direction, and the action is silky smooth.
These aluminum scales for my Civivi Vision FG are fantastic. They made this knife 100 times more attractive. It’s been in my pocket everyday since I put them on.
These scales are beautiful, perfectly complimenting my cage lock, pocket clip, and Magnacut blade. I cannot get over how they did a 180 on my knife aesthetics-wise, after trading the yellow scales out for OGs.
I am not an impulse buyer. I always do my research before buying anything, and so I had high expectations. Im happy to see my expectations were met.
Everything I hoped and dreamed for!
When I ordered, I knew it would take six weeks for the scales to be made and another week for them to arrive. The merchandise was well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. The scales are attached to the knife using parts from the stock Spyderco. The screw collars were used slightly differently, but the scales used them effectively to hold the knife together, including securing the wire pocket clip. However, the blade bolt from the Spyderco didn't work as the scale holes weren't large enough to accommodate them. Fortunately, I had barrel spacer with bolts from a Universal parts kit that I was able use instead. The new scales look MUCH COOLER than the sad plastic scales that came with the knife. I would recommend Original Goat to anyone who is looking to upgrade their Spyderco with well-machined custom scales that will definitely impress!
This is a very well made item and the fit is perfect, my only gripe is that the instructions are not on the site for the Manix and it is a pain to swap, also the texturing on the OG1 is a little aggressive for me but that is not something I blame them for I would just order a different pattern if I was doing it again.

These scales are the gunstock alum in the buff. The clam shell design is a perfect fit. Spyderco needs to have OG make there scales.
I put the aluminum OG scales (wings pattern, wire pocket clip) on my Manix 2 Lightweight Salt and it's like a completely different knife. The scales are very obviously precision-made, the blade is centered and I didn't even have to tweak the screws.
I like that they deleted one of the finger grooves and added heavy jimping on the butt of the handle, it helps to close the knife. The pivot feels a lot smoother too.
Great fit and finish. The hardest part was disassembling the liners on the original scales. The rest was pretty simple. The cerakote looks great and I love the milling!

The whole ordering process was a breeze. I did have to wait a few weeks however I received timely updates about the progress of my order. The cerakote looks amazing and the attention to detail is excellent. I will be ordering another set of scales.

I really wanted a manix 2 in magnacut. So I bought one. If you have seen it then you know the ugly yellow plastic handles were atrocious. Original Goat saved the day with the aluminum scales groovy pattern. It looks amazing now. Feels way better too. I also put the flytanium ball carrier on it. Totally different knife now. Amazing!
I bought the Deka v2 and I was surprised at how light and dinky the original scales were. It's a magnacut blade, so I understand where you make cuts for the price point. However, these scales were exactly what it was missing. Better weight and center of gravity. Better grip overall. It feels like a regular knife now. Not a lightweight version. Easy to install. I had a small issue with the pivot, so watch the install videos. Overall, a great purchase.
The OG scales transformed my cheap feeling Manix 2 lightweight to something much more premium.
