These scales are amazing! The machining is perfect, and the custom coating I requested is phenomenal. These take the Vision to a whole new level.
To keep balance of the slim version, the lightweight option was worth it. I own most of the OG patterns now for the Demko AD20 and after a couple of weeks I can confidently say that the Gunstock is now my favorite. The distinct transition from the crisp tight pattern to smooth round edge makes these curiously comfortable, with an enhanced grip. Add in the old school gunstock look with the slightly darker stoned finish completed a true upgrade to an already iconic American folder for me. OG knocked it clean out of the park with this one and the customer service they've provided to me over the years couldn't be better.

A great knife made better thanks to Original Goat. I got the splatter goat in blue base layer and sprayed with highlighter yellow. It is great and durable.
This is now a perfect EDC knife.

I bought my RamLock Stitch, and was happy...until Microtech released the Fluted Aluminum model. I wasn't about to buy another knife just to upgrade my scales. Then I came across THESE. If you have G10 scales and crave the feel of premium scales, you can't go wrong here. My first set of OG's and I'm very happy with the scales. The Phat Goats feel better in the hand, unlike the stock (ultem) scales. Installation was quick, centering was on point and the "shark tooth" texture was not only relevant to the model of knife, but also grippy with no hot spots or pocket tearing.
When finances allow.......I'll be back! Great stuff!
The best aftermarket scales I’ve come across. If you want to use the stock Demko clip get the lanyard hole option. Looks goofy otherwise.

I installed them in about 10 min. And be carefull not to launch your lock bar spring.

Makes the Vision feel like a much more expensive knife. Makes everything feel more solid but not heavier, and looks like a million bucks. I've bought OG before but this is my first time trying ceracote and I'm really happy with the look, though it is wearing a bit at the corners.
Excellent scales. The color, gunstock texture and fitment is all perfect. I love my AWT scales but these are right up there. On another note, USPS lost my package and OG got me out another set almost immediately. Great product and company. Thanks OG!
High quality scales. Very nicely finished. Unfortunately they are somewhat thinner then the original Hogue scales. One of the reasons the Ritter is my favorite EDC knife is the large grip. The thinner OG scales make the knife awkward in my large hands. The difference probably won't bother a lot of people and will likely be an improvement for some, but be aware of the issue before ordering.

First of all, I am not saying anything new here by declaring that the OG scales are the best aftermarket scales you can buy for your knife. But what some may not know is that their installation services and customer service are just off the charts. The GOAT Clam Shell scales for my Manix 2 LW takes a cheap feeling knife and vaults it to the feel of a $300 premium knife.
The Spyderco FRN scales do not provide the premium feel of the GOAT Aluminum scales.
My opinion is that it’s not optional but a must.

Very nice scales however, shipping is excessively long. I would purchase more for several MT and Spyderco knifes but for shipping times.
