PHAT GOAT+ / Thick Aluminum Scales (Compatible with Demko Shark Cub® Ultem & G10 Models)

These aluminum scales are just what my Demko Shark Cub needed. They are thicker and feel great in the hand. These scales make cutting tasks easier and more comfortable. They weight just a little more than the G-10 scales. G-10 scales 2.9 oz and these scales weigh 3.3 oz. I am very pleased with these OG aluminum scales.

I have the Blade HQ-exclusive Shark Cub in smoky Ultem scales, and those scales did not hold up very well. Mine cracked very easily around the screw holes. These scales are an excellent replacement. They are robust, comfortable, and look great.

Update: OG sent me a replacement set of scales. Original review for posterity: My only complaint is that mine came with a gouge on the back of one scales. They'll see more abuse as I use the knife, so it's not a big deal, but it's disappointing that they arrived that way.

These scales made a good knife Great. My biggest problem with a lot of knives is that the handles are too thin. I want to feel the knife in my hand comfortable. OG made this knife Perfect. This was my first set of Scales from OG, and now I have 6 more Titanium scales and 2 more Aluminum scales ordered. I highly recommend OG you will be very happy with their work.
