The Hogue deka v2 is a great American made blade and smooth action. Problem is, the handle geometry and/or design has some issues. Most notably, serious palm cuts when closing the knife. After a few of those I was ready to give up on the knife. But...then came along these OG scales. Amazing quality, fit and finish, and so simple to install. These have brought the knife back to life, eliminated the plan cuts, and put this knife back in my pocket on regular rotation. Nice work OG. You fixed the deka for me.
The OG scales I installed on my Deka made it twice the knife it was. It looks so good and would do it again!
So glad I got them- high quality, lightweight, and grippy. The “wings” pattern , the ergos are perfect, and my Hogue Deka v2 is now my favorite EDC. I went with the stocky Goat XL scales with jimping, a floating & fully jimped backspacer, and custom color (hidden white)Cerakote. The install process was easy It was more than worth the wait.
