STONED VS IN THE BUFF

Our two raw aluminum finishes available...

STONED (SHINY) - This is an UNFINISHED finish...this is a raw, shiny aluminum look straight from our tumblers! You may see slight tool marks and other slight imperfections with this finish, but will be less prone to scratching and tarnishing.

IN THE BUFF (MATTE) - This is a blasted finish, so the overall look and feel will be a smoother, matte finish. We gently hand-buff the surface to bring back just a hint of shine to those edges, which pictures really just do justice!

Aluminum scales for hogue deka

Replacing the stock thin factory scales with the Goat scales has changed the knife in all the right ways. The knife now has the appropriate heft without any flex and has centered the weight balance to make the knife easier to hsndle. The added jimping and texture makes holding the knife easier without losing control and locking your hand more into place. The fit and finish is magnificent and the shinier aluminum with coating in contrast to black blade really is striking visually. Having many knives with many different scales , this knife now is a permanent keeper in my collection and a very practical user as I feel is relatively resistant to wear because of the material and coating . I will be a future buyer of your scales in many different configurations for many of my knives. Thank you!
