These scales are gorgeous craftsmanship. I'm very pleased with the purchase. Though, my knife slipped out of my pocket and these scales chipped easily. Wish they were a bit tougher.
They're just perfect, the paint, the fit, machining tolerance, design, whatever else you can think of. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. The improvement from the stock deka is huge, the G10 isn't bad, but it has nothing on the Goat scales.
Fixes the weight imbalance and the flimsy feeling from the plastic scales. Great texturing in the hand, jimping is a amazing addition for extra security in the hand too. The Cera coat makes the aluminum feel a little less harsh / cold. Would definitely upgrade.
