Both models are the same thickness and use stock hardware.

Our two raw aluminum finishes available...
A little too severe and sharp for a sensitive grip for extended use. Not what I expected but live n learn folks. I would stick to the smoother finer finished patterns, I should have known as I already own another set of scales for my Deka. Still, great quality items from GOAT and long may they continue.
The disappointment is all self served, my own choice.

These scales take an already great knife and make it better. I can't say enough about how nice the scales are, and that is not even mentioning the splatter goat pattern. I went with the eclectic pattern, and that just makes it even more freaking awesome!!!
I really can't say enough good things. I am 100 % impressed.
