Pre ordered these scales late last year knowing they would arrive April-May of 2024 and OG kept me up to date on their factory move and manufacturing times, EXCELLENT communication! I received mine 2 days ago but was out of town till today, May 10th. Upon opening the box I was pleasantly surprised to see the scales in a soft case and in a plastic zip lock with foam pieces separating each scale so no chance of scratching one another, and, well they are BEAUTIFUL! The machining is absolutely perfect and as I began reassembling with them I admired the perfect alignment and fitting of each set screw (which is very easy to do II also coat the blade with Tsubaki oil and also lube the bearings with nano oil). The fit was perfect with blade centering spot on! The action/sound is now very similar to my Stitch manual with aluminum scales which is outstanding! The OG scales make the MSI a little heavier but the solidity makes it well worth the xtra weight plus the difference in rigidity is night and day. Thank you OG for your constant communication and for the wonderful scales for my Microtech MSI!
