STONED VS IN THE BUFF

The debate roars on...to buff or not to buff is the question!

Our two raw aluminum finishes available...

STONED (SHINY) - This is an UNFINISHED finish...this is a raw, shiny aluminum look straight from our tumblers! You may see slight tool marks and other slight imperfections with this finish, but will be less prone to scratching and tarnishing.

IN THE BUFF (MATTE) - This is a blasted finish, so the overall look and feel will be a smoother, matte finish. We gently hand-buff the surface to bring back just a hint of shine to those edges, which pictures really just do justice!

Simply the best FRN scales for the Manix 2!

These girls are amazing and I’m enjoying them so much. I bought a second set that I’m going to do as a giveaway because I felt like these are worthy of celebrating a 7000 subscriber milestone. Original Goat is the goat when it comes to so many of these scales.

Idea and Execution Are Great. Design Could be Refined

I love the idea of the clamshell scales to replace the existing lw scales and the machining and cerakote are perfect. I would however, recommend some tweaks to the design. The swell in the middle is debatable. Some love it some hate it. I personally would prefer to see a “skinny” option with that removed. The bigger problems is the aggressive gimping at the butt of the knife and the relief on the edges of the scales is not large enough. The machined texture comes very close to the edge of the knife and is a little too sharp. The edges need to be softened more. The gimping is fairly large and cut a little to sharp. Again, these are just minor things I would improve and they are otherwise done really well. 85 out of 100.

All Black Manix 2

Just what I expected from OG, great fit and finish! It’s just a really nice upgrade to the FRN scales. This is my second set of scales from OG and I’m sure I’ll get a few more.
