Fit and finish are solid. The scales added a bit of weight and girth to the handle. The pins are captured inside the new scales. The edges and the grip have a soft satin finish. The scales have a baby blue tinge.

My scales came new and in the buff for my AD20.5. I tend to hold my breath attaching new scales because the fit isn't always as good as the factory scales. However, the Phat Goat thick aluminum scales were as snug as they were shiny. When I had a question the friendly OG team got right back to me and was kind and helpful. Really an A+ experience all around and I couldn't be happier.
