When I got my hands on my new AD20.5 KC exclusive with 3V steel, I was disappointed. The knife itself was nearly flawless, however, the red, cheap feeling plastic scales it came with completely cheapened up the knife. This was over $200 so not in the realm of budget knives at all, yet if felt that way.
My OG scales completely changed that. They feel great, give the knife much needed weight to help with balance, and look damn good doing it. I will be a returning customer.
